Part 6 of a podcast retrospective with Sassy Mohen (writer/director) & Dillon Morris (Cinematographer/Producer,) remembering one of the biggest hurdles of the project, when their film school Chapman University tried to stop the film from being made because it was "too ambitious."

--

In 2006, a group of film students took on one of the most ambitious projects Chapman University has ever seen: a feature film. Despite great financial obstacles, inexperience and Chapman labeling the film, “too ambitious,” the team pressed on. Almost two decades later, Happy Holidays alumni have won Oscars, Emmys & Grammys, made multi-million dollar features and run production companies. Now re-cut & digitally remastered, Happy Holidays takes you back in time to a pivotal moment in indie filmmaking and a story that shows we all start somewhere.
